Users of ME10 10.50 and SolidDesigner may be familiar with the time-saving utility "Copy contour". This is used to quickly transfer profile geometry to SolidDesigner without the hassle of tidying up and removing unwanted geometry. |
| The only drawback with Copy contour is that it does not check if the geometry is of a suitable quality to be used in the 3D environment. In 3D everything should be perfect with no 0.000004354352mm "tails". |
| Accuracy Advisor is the only
tool available for doing this and it can be integrated into
your Copy
contour utility.
Simply install Accuracy Advisor and whenever you use Copy contour you will see if there are any problems with your geometry - without having to concern yourself about running any other routines.
